Adrian Baquero

Adrian is the youngest of four in the Baquero Family.  His parents, Edgar and Letty, wanted to offer Adrian all the opportunities available.  Adrian was, therefore, well versed in soccer, dance, song, and gymnastics.

Adrian's passion was soccer.  Having had success at the club level, high school, and college level, the next progression was professional soccer.

It was by chance that Adrian would stumble across adventure racing.  A friend asked Adrian to compete in a 2-man sprint race.  After the race, he realized a new passion.

Adrian competed in the 2000 Texas Sprint Series and participated in his first 12 hour race.  Later that year, he would compete in a 4-man race in Kisatchie National Park.

Adrian would continue his thirst to compete in as many races as possible.  In 2001, Adrian competed in many races.  Eco-Lonestar, Texas Challenge, Aquaterra, Terrafirma, Martin Dies, Hill Country, and the Wild Onion Urban Race.

During the Summer of 2001, Adrian would team-up with his brother, Albert.  Together they would place top-3 in the various sprints and finally complete the series 2nd in the State.

Adrian's greatest accomplishments for the year were National Competitions for both 4-man and 2-man races.

Adrian also participated in mountain bike races (i.e. 12 Hours of Dirt, 24 Hours of Rocky Hill, 8 Hours FDNY, and Dirty Dozen).

Adrian is a Personal Trainer and Activity Instructor for a local community college.  He spends his free time working on cars.
